“Lady Tygress’ Suite and Other Commissions” Album Released!

Posted on 2022-11-04 Written by D. Lee Jackson 1 Comment

Lady Tygress' Suite and Other Commissions cover artIt’s out! My fourth album, “Lady Tygress’ Suite and Other Commissions,” has been released today. You’ll be able to find it in physical CD, downloadable digital, and streaming formats on all the usual outlets, which are linkable from my HearNow page.

For quick reference, here are some of the more popular links to sites where you’ll be able to find the album at this time. Not all of them may be up right off the bat, but they will be eventually. Here they are:

  • Amazon CD
  • Apple Music / iTunes
  • Bandcamp
  • Deezer
  • Soundcloud
  • Spotify
  • YouTube

The album is available as both a physical CD and as a digital download on Amazon. It’s also available as a digital download on Bandcamp, but with several bonus items, such as liner notes, album art (by Kittyhawk!), and art that was released with several of the singles that are included on the album.

I may not be able to update this post with more details immediately, since I’ll be heading to the hospital at noon Central time for an operation to fix Carpal Tunnel and Cubital Tunnel Syndrome in my left hand and elbow. This will put my left hand out of commission for a couple of weeks (I think), so typing will be difficult at best. I’d really appreciate it if you’d show your support for me by buying a copy of my album! 🙂

Thank you for your support. Please check out my new album today, especially on Bandcamp, since as of midnight Pacific time, it’ll be Bandcamp Friday!

“Duke Nukem Tank Tracks” Still Selling

Posted on 2021-03-22 Written by D. Lee Jackson Leave a Comment

Tank Tracks Album CoverIt’s been almost a month since “Duke Nukem Tank Tracks” was released, and sales have been moderately okay. Granted, the only sales I see at the moment are the ones that come in via Bandcamp. CD Baby has not yet reported any of the sales from Amazon or Apple Music/iTunes, nor from any streaming sites like Spotify, Pandora, or Deezer. I have to wait until at least the end of the first quarter for those figures to start coming in – possibly until the second quarter. It’s frustrating as hell not to know what the sales figures are for your work!

In the meanwhile, here’s some incentive for those of you on Facebook to come by and join my Lee Jackson Audio Community Discussion Group. Once you join, you’ll see a post with a code for a 20% discount off of a copy of “Duke Nukem Tank Tracks” from Bandcamp. This version comes with high-quality digital cover art from renowned webcomic artist Kittyhawk and a seven-page liner note booklet! All of this for 20% off the regular low price of $10 for 15 tracks of new music! Just go to the link at the start of this paragraph, make sure you answer the join-up questions that are presented to you, and you’ll be golden. I look forward to seeing you in the group!

Tip Jar on Hearnow

Posted on 2020-07-30 Written by D. Lee Jackson Leave a Comment

tipjarOne of the many ways you can track down the different releases of Derivations is via my Hearnow page. There, you can find links to Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer, and Bandcamp releases of the album. Now, there’s another link available on my Hearnow page – a tip jar!

I’ll admit right here and now that making music isn’t cheap. Case in point: every dollar from the sale of the signed & numbered Collector’s Edition CDs of Derivations was reinvested right back into my musical setup by way of the purchase of a $750+ (incl. tax) brass and woodwind library for Native Instruments Kontakt. If you did the math on the Collector’s Edition sale, you’ll understand that a goodly amount of my own money went into that purchase as well. There will be more purchases in the future, of course, to keep up with the times.

I’m not asking for a hand-out, just a hand. If you go to my Hearnow page for Derivations and like what you hear, or if you just want to support me in my musical endeavors, please go to my Hearnow page for Derivations and look on the left column of the screen for the icon of the hand holding a dollar sign. That will take you to my Paypal.Me page, where you can leave a tip. I would appreciate any amount you can leave.

Thank you for your support!

Derivations Pre-Order On Amazon!

Posted on 2020-05-30 Written by D. Lee Jackson Leave a Comment

Derivations CoverThis is the big one! My new album, Derivations, is available for pre-order on Amazon! Just like on iTunes and Apple Music, if you order now, you’ll get early access to track one of the album, “CyberFlight.” Now’s your chance – click here to pre-order Derivations on Amazon!

In other news, the pre-order sale of Derivations on iTunes and Apple Music is still going strong. Grab your copy now if you’re on the Apple platform.

Also, if you’d like to listen to excerpts from Derivations before you buy, you can always visit my Hearnow page. There, you’ll find 30-second excerpts of all eleven tracks, plus links to my social media sites and links to where you can buy the album.

UPDATE: Still no news as to whether CD Baby’s distribution warehouse in Portland, Oregon will be open in time for the release date of Derivations. As a result, I would not count on being able to purchase a physical CD from Amazon when June 5th rolls around. However, I will be announcing the details of a special eBay sale of ten signed and numbered CDs shortly after the release date, so please stay tuned for that.
