We’re only three – that’s right, three – days away from your first chance to purchase a copy of Derivations! If you’re on iTunes, you’ll be able to pre-order Derivations beginning this coming Friday, May 22nd. The digital album price will be $12.97 USD, and as an incentive for pre-ordering, you’ll get early access to the first track on the album, “CyberFlight.”
Another event to watch for this Friday is the unveiling of my preview page for Derivations. You’ll be able to listen to 30-second previews of all eleven tracks for free, and beginning June 5th, you’ll be able to click on links that will take you to sites where you can purchase the album. I’ll release the link to the site here on my blog, on my Twitter feed, on my Facebook pages, and everywhere else I can think of first thing Friday morning!
UPDATE: For those of you wondering about the availability of the physical CD, that’s still up in the air. CD Baby’s fulfillment warehouse is still closed due to the coronavirus/COVID-19 global pandemic, so unless this changes by June 5th, only digital copies and streams will be available at first. Check back for further updates as they become available.
The CDs are here! They arrived Thursday afternoon. I’ve already quality checked one, including playing it, and it was perfect!
At long last, the CDs for my Derivations album are on the way! CD Baby’s duplication center has finished printing them and has packed them up and labeled them for UPS Ground pickup later today. I can’t wait for them to finally get on the road!
The Derivations album cleared another major hurdle over the past couple of days when its audio passed CD Baby’s rigorous inspection process. That means the audio is now ready for release on the scheduled June 5th date on streaming and digital sales platforms, including Amazon Digital, Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Pandora, and many more! This also confirms the May 22nd pre-order date on iTunes.
