Empty Room My gratitude goes out to the person who must have read my last blog post, for they acted quickly and snatched up the very last signed & numbered CD of Derivations that will ever be made. Thank you very much indeed! As soon as I hear back from you concerning the question I sent on eBay, I will ship out your CD to you. Much obliged, and many thanks!

So, now we wait for CD Baby to reopen their warehouse so that CD sales can begin on Amazon. You can already buy the MP3 album from Amazon, but I’ll be happy when people can get the physical product in their hands. Watch this space for updates, and cross your fingers that the COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t shut everything down again.

There Can Be Only One

Derivations Cover The eBay sale of the signed & numbered Derivations CDs got off to a quick start. Five CDs were purchased on the very first day! After that, there was a bit of a lull, until I went onto Discord one day and managed to sell three more very quickly. Another person bought the ninth CD shortly thereafter.

So, now it’s down to this. There is only one signed & numbered CD left, and it’s yours for the taking at $50 (plus shipping) on eBay.

I’ve added an extra benefit to the deal. Back at the beginning of the year, I had some very fancy dual-sided business cards with my picture on them printed up for Jon St. John’s “NotCon at Sea” cruise-confab. I’m enclosing one of these inside the CD case with the purchase. I’m also still autographing a dedication at the top of the CD cover (leave me a note with your purchase saying what you’d like written there).

Signed and Numbered Derivations CDs Selling on eBay

Derivations Cover The Signed and Numbered copies of Derivations are already selling on eBay, and man, are they going swiftly! Ten of them went on sale this morning (Wednesday, June 10th) at $50 each, and half of them are already gone. That leaves just five copies still available!

As a reminder, here’s what you’re getting when you purchase one of these CDs:

A copy of the CD package that’s been signed and numbered by the composer/artist himself, yours truly.
A special autograph on the CD cover – whatever you’d like, as long as it’s in good taste and as long as it fits.
International shipment via the eBay Global Shipping Program.

These are also the only available CDs at this time, thanks to CD Baby’s distribution warehouse being closed. I hope that the situation will soon be fixed. Until then, please grab one of these limited edition CDs! There’ll never be any others like them.

The Lowdown On Derivations CDs

Derivations Cover One day. One day until my new album, Derivations, goes on sale. Yet a huge question still hovers over it. Will the CD version be available for sale on Friday, June 5th?

The answer, I’m sorry to say, is no.

The explanation, as I’ve stated all along, is that CD Baby, the global distributor of my CD, has temporarily closed their distribution warehouse due to the ongoing coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. They can’t get the CD to places like Amazon for fulfillment, so the CD will simply not be for sale yet.

I am unable to fulfill CD orders myself. However, here is what I am going to do. It’s what I did with the Calibrations CD release, right down to the dollar amount.

On Wednesday, June 10th, I am going to make ten (10) CDs available on eBay. They will be signed and numbered – the only ones I will ever sign and number. The purchaser can also choose to have the signature personalized. These ten CDs will be offered at the price of $50 each plus shipping and handling as computed by eBay (the purchaser will be responsible for any customs/import duties). I will ship to any part of the world that it is possible for me to ship. The CDs will be available until all ten are sold, at which time no more of this type will ever be produced.

I am truly sorry, but only downloadable MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, and streaming versions of Derivations will be available on Friday, June 5th. The CDs will either have to go through this deal on June 10th or wait until CD Baby reopens their distribution warehouse.

I hope there are ten of you out there who are interested in the CD to the point of being interested in this offer. I took very good care of my customers in 2018 when I released Calibrations, and I will take very good care of my customers in 2020 when I release Derivations. I look forward to seeing you on eBay.
