It’s official: you can now pre-order my new album, Derivations, on iTunes and Apple Music! The sale began on Friday worldwide. I wish I had some way of keeping track of the statistics, but my distributor, CD Baby, won’t have any stats for another week. In any case, if you purchase a copy of the album before the June 5th release date, you’ll get early access to the lead track, “CyberFlight.” Please pick up a copy today!
Also new this week is my Hearnow page for Derivations. Many of you may remember my Hearnow page for my Calibrations album. This is pretty much the same. Go to my Derivations Hearnow page and you’ll find 30-second-long previews of all eleven tracks off of the album, plus links to the stores where they can be purchased (only iTunes and Apple Music for now, but that will update as new sites become available) and to my social media pages.
UPDATE: Still no news on whether or not CD Baby’s distribution warehouse is going to reopen by June 5th. They’re located in Oregon – Portland, specifically, one of the more paranoid areas when it comes to the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. In other words, it doesn’t look good. For now, your best bet if you want a high-quality audio release of Derivations would be to follow me on Bandcamp. I’ll send out notifications to all followers when the album comes out. All but tracks 2 and 11 (which were originally recorded at 44KHz/16-bit) will be released at 96KHz/24-bit resolution. Not a bad reason to pick them up!
